About The Organization

AccessWay is a developing, student-run marketing campaign dedicated to spreading awareness of accessibility and innovative wayfinding signage within the Toronto transit system. Accessible wayfinding signage affects everyone's everyday life, from informational and directional, to navigational signs; it is especially prominent in urban environments.

Well-thought-out signage, from subway signs to university maps, should become invisible because of how natural and easy they are to follow. The goal of the campaign is to inform, critique and possibly change certain design aspects on accessible wayfinding and signage within the transit system in Toronto, and other cities.
